We'll start today by handing back your vocabulary quizzes, which, unfortunately will not be so happy for most of you. I have a feeling that many of you came less prepared than needed. SO, I will be offering a retake for this quiz. IN ORDER TO TAKE THE RETAKE, you must PRINT, COMPLETE, and SIGN this Retake Ticket. The retake will be offered tomorrow before or after school or during a study hall. No retakes will be offered on Friday.
You will have some time today to finish up with the Stephen Crane Author Notes sheet from yesterday. Remember, in order to fully complete this sheet, you will need to do some of your own research!
Once you have completed that, work with a partner to answer the following in student-friendly terms; take notes on your findings:
- What is realism?
- What is naturalism?
- What is the difference between the two?
IF your finish all of that early, grab your free reading book and get to reading. Once everyone has their book out, I will know that we are ready to discuss your findings!
